Cove Park invites applications for the new position of Residency & Creative Events Facilitator. The position is an opportunity for a talented, recent graduate starting their career in the arts.

DEADLINE EXTENDED TO 11 MAY 2015.

WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FROM 2015 GRADUATES PREDICTED A GRADE 2:2 OR ABOVE.

This is a full-time 6 month position based at Cove Park with a salary of £15,500 per annum pro rata. The facilitator’s role will be to offer vital practical support to the artists taking part in our 2015 summer residency programme, both in terms of their experience on site and the development of their work. The Facilitator will also have responsibility for Cove Park’s internal Creative Events – an informal series of talks and studio visits designed to encourage discussion and debate among the resident and visiting artists, vital to the success of the residencies. This will provide direct and valuable experience of devising and delivering a programme within a vibrant contemporary art context.

This post is offered as part of the Weston Jerwood Creative Bursaries Programme, aimed specifically at recent arts graduates whose circumstances mean they would not otherwise be in a position to develop their skills and CV through unpaid work experience.

1. Graduated from an undergraduate arts degree in 2013 or 2014 with a 2:2 (or higher) OR be graduating in 2015 and predicted a grade 2:2 or above and

2.Must have been in receipt of a full maintenance grant during the full period of their course

Please ensure that you meet these criteria before applying for this position.

The Weston Jerwood Creative Bursaries programme is run by Jerwood Charitable Foundation with the support of Garfield Weston Foundation, Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation and J Paul Getty Jnr Charitable Trust.
