Flora Litchfield is an artist and sound therapist based in Edinburgh – working with laser light, nature, sound and moving image. Her work navigates geographical sites and psychological states as she seeks to address the relationship between architecture and landscape – and between evolution and erosion. Within her practice, she likes to explore how we can shift space by using light and sound and enjoys creating temporary site-specific installations within the natural environment. Folklore, place history and personal narratives profoundly influence Flora’s work and she enjoys connecting/weaving the stories of places and people into her installations. Her work often centres around human experience and wellbeing – and the role colour and sound has upon affecting our mood and emotions.
