Jade Blood is an artist, printmaker and organiser. Jade co-founded York Zine Fest, a free biannual self publishing event and Artists with(out) green space; a project which encourages people to try growing without a garden. She teaches at Bootham School in York and YSJ University alongside her practice and embeds a DIY ethos and ‘radical ecology’ throughout.

Thanks to an ACE CPD grant, Jade is currently working on sustainable print making materials, such as algae inks and hand made papers. She will use her time at Cove Park to work on a series of biodegradable prints and soundscapes with her musician partner, Danny Barton (aka Wolf Solent) and their baby (Teddy Trew Blood).
