Cove Park’s programme of Early Career Residencies supports UK-based artists in the process of establishing their careers, providing an opportunity for research and the development of new work at this crucial stage. We are pleased this year to offer four residencies to artists specialising in composition/music, crafts/design, literature and visual art. This year, the crafts/design residency has been awarded to Zephyr Liddell.

Zephyr is a Glasgow-based printed textile designer whose work pursues the symbiotic relationships between craft and digital techniques, looking at movement created in drawing process, material qualities and developing new printing methods to create large-scale textile works. This residency will provide Zephyr with the time and space away from commission-based work to redefine her practice and focus upon a new period of self-directed work.
