Emilia Beatriz is an artist, access worker and beekeeper in-study from Puerto Rico’s diaspora, based in Glasgow. Emilia’s practice engages still & moving image, writing and performance to witness and weave entangled narratives of bodies and land, underpinned by oral histories, community archiving, and collaborations. Emilia’s upcoming film barrunto is made with support from the Margaret Tait 2020/2021 award.

Ana Elisa Peréz-Quintero is a farmer based in Bieke, (Vieques) and co-facilitator of La Colmena Cimarrona (The Maroon Hive).  La Colmena Cimarrona practices community-based agroecology and beekeeping with the intention of growing food sovereignty, racial and economic justice in the archipelago of Puerto Rico.
