Bronwen Sleigh (born 1980) was raised in Mid-Wales. She received her BA from the Glasgow School of Art in 2002 and her MA from the Royal College of Art in 2008, where she was selected for a six week exchange to The University of Calgary, Canada. She has also worked for several prestigious arts organisations including the The Royal College of Art, The Royal Academy Schools as a Print Fellow and at Edinburgh Printmakers as their etching technician and collaborating printer.
Bronwen has exhibited nationally and internationally and her work is held in numerous public collections around the world. Her most recent solo shows include Manic Cinq, Chez Arthur et Janine, Arles, France (2016), Northern Form Cydonia, Dallas, Texas, USA (2015) and presentations at both Glasgow Print Studio (2014) and Edinburgh Printmakers (2013). She has received many prizes for her work and, most recently, was awarded the Roy Wood Prize for Printmaking. In the spring of 2017 was resident at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity.
