Amy is a playwright, theatre maker, and actor based in Glasgow. She trained at the University of Glasgow and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Her last show, Super Awesome World [dir. Rob Jones], which explores depression through video games and audience participation, won Summerhall’s Autopsy Award, and was nominated for the Scottish Arts Club Award (Best Show) and for The Scotsman’s new Mental Health Fringe Award when it premiered at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2017. Super Awesome World toured the UK in 2018/19 as well as appearing Off-Broadway as part of United Solo Festival in NYC.

Previous work includes I-HAPPY-I-GOOD, an immersive one-to-one performance about deafblindness, toured to On The Verge, Liverpool in association with Surge; and 30:60:80 [dir. Victoria Beesley], a verbatim show exploring maternal histories and intergenerational difference, toured Scottish theatres with support from Creative Scotland. In 2018 Amy presented The Warhol Assassinat Mayfesto as a rehearsed reading. This new play was written under the mentorship of David Leddy, supported by Fire Exit’s Pyromania bursary programme for experimental playwriting.
