Argyll Rainforest Network Community Days
Cove Park and ACT: Argyll & the Isles Coast & Countryside Trust, working in partnership as the Argyll Beacon, have established Argyll Rainforest Community Network, a new programme that seeks to bring together isolated rural communities in our region to build a network of rainforest habitats, and to connect these communities through creativity, education, and a shared interest in preserving this important habitat.
We are excited to share that the artist appointed to work with ACT and Cove Park on this project is cellist and teacher Jessica Kerr.
Join us on Saturday 14 September at Argyll Beaver Centre in Barrandaimh or on Sunday 15 September at Glenan Community Woodland in Portavadie for free, family-friendly activities, including guided rainforest walks, forest bathing, woodworking activities, soup & fire feasting, and Woodland Orchestra sessions. Learn more and book on ACT’s website.
We are grateful to Creative Carbon Scotland for supporting this programme.
