The view of Cove Park's Cubes - dark green metal shipping containers converted into units of accommodation, with porthole windows framed in white - from the path which cuts across Cove Park's site. The image is framed to the left with a mature tree in full leaf. The blue waters of Lock Long and the grey and green hills of Cowal Peninsula are visible in the distance.

Open Residencies

Cove Park’s Open Residencies (known formerly as Independently-Funded Residencies) provide opportunities for those with their own funding to take part in our annual programme. We welcome individuals and collaborators able to meet the costs of a residency through, for example, the direct support of academic institutions, public funders, trusts, or foundations.

Open Residencies can take place throughout the year. Artists, cultural practitioners, writers, and researchers – at every career stage and working in all creative disciplines – are welcome.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Prices depend upon the length of stay, the time of year, and whether you are an organisation, company or solo practitioner.
