Antenne (Norway) explores existentialism, addiction and communication through a unique blend of performance, film and installation. Created by the acclaimed clowning duo whose work uses inventive slapstick, physical comedy and richly drawn characters. During the Cove Park residency, the pair will focus mostly on developing the performance through a dramaturgical lens.

Anne Marie & Marie

Anna Marie & Marie is a collective from Norway. The clown duo have toured their clown comedy ‘Troll’ ★★★★ (The Guardian) in Australia, USA, Norway and the UK, after a successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2024. Other productions include the critically acclaimed comedy and variety show ‘Naughty Cabaret’ and their new clown comedy for children aged 5+, ‘Rampetroll’.

Taking place in early 2027, the International Visual Theatre Residency is a new initiative delivered in partnership with Manipulate Arts and international festival partners Arrivano dal Mare! (Ravenna, Italy), TIP-Fest (Turku, Finland) and Go Figure! (Oslo, Norway). The programme supports mid-stage development for ambitious visual theatre projects, creating space for artistic exchange, experimentation, and the development of high-quality new work.

Six projects from artists across Scotland, Finland, Italy and Norway will be supported. Audiences will be able to check out early performance sharings of these projects as part of Undercurrents, Manipulate Arts’ new event championing bold, untested new visual theatre, puppetry and animated film in February 2027.
