Helen Farish, from Cumbria, is the author of Intimates, winner of the Forward prize for Best First Collection and shortlisted for the TS Eliot Prize. She is very interested in the relationship between poetry and the body and poetry and music. A new collection about Chopin is forthcoming from Bloodaxe in 2012 (with plans to perform to music) and another collection with be published in 2013.
