Working within installation and product design Gemma creates electronics with an analogue aesthetic to create optimistic experiences that engage at both an imaginative and intellectual level. Her work is focused towards interactions with audio that she combines with her fascination for switches, stacking objects and all things mottled.
Gemma graduated with distinction from the Royal College of Art’s renowned Design Products program where she is a member of ‘Platform 21’ under the direction of Yuri Suzuki and Oscar Diaz. She received a first class bachelors degree from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design and accounts for one half of design studio, Nice to be Nice.
