Saturday Studios – Gardens of the Future Printmaking Workshop

Originally developed and delivered at Artica Svalbard in Norway, this printing workshop asks us to imagine what our community gardens will look like in the future.
Using printmaking techniques, we will collaborate to create an imaginary garden that could exist at Cove Park. How will the landscape change over time, and what will a changing environment mean for the plants that grow here and the food that we are able to produce?
This is an informal session which promises to be fun, explorative and probably a bit messy, so please come prepared.
This workshop is open to children aged 5 and over parents or carers are encouraged to stay and join in if they can.
This workshop forms part of our Nordic Alliance of Artists’ Residencies on Climate Action. NAARCA is a 3-year project that brings together artists’ residencies from seven countries to collaborate on research, commissions, institutional change and education around climate action.
