Dylan Bonnar

Dylan Bonnar is a Writer, Performer, Composer and Lyricist based in the West Coast of Scotland. His training includes an HND in Music and a Bachelor’s degree with Honours in Performing Arts. Dylan has performed in many different shows ranging from musicals like Rock of Ages and Rent to pantomimes and short films. His most recent professional credits are Elves and the Shoemaker which was a puppet show performed at the Beacon Arts Centre and as part of a Flash mob that performed in Glasgow’s Buchannan Street promoting the new season of Outlander. As well as performing he also has a love for writing and has written for both the stage and screen. Currently Dylan has been making use of all his training and background to write the music and book for a brand-new Scottish musical called Tam O Chanter inspired by the Robert Burns poem Tam O Shanter. The show is adapted and updated set-in modern times focusing on the themes of love, trust, and change.
