Parel Joy is a poet, literary translator and zine maker based in Amsterdam, working in the Netherlands and Scotland. Her pamphlet The Queen of Cups and Other Poems was published by SPAM in 2022 and she runs DykeHouse Press, which has published 3 zines of queer poetics so far. Parel has translated writing by Bryan Washington, Porsha Olayiwola and jimmy cooper into Dutch, and poetry by Maarten van der Graaff and Rodante van der Waal into English.
