After supporting in schools, Fiona wrote for young adults: Get Over It, Adventures, Onwards and Upwards. Before came her prize-winning short story, ‘Off the Beaten Track.’ She won the Unique Writing Publications Story Award with Love in Spiritual Awakenings.

Published in an eBook anthology of short stories, The Heavenly Road Trip with Help For Writers, she also self-published a Great War Winners booklet for 7-11 year-olds. She enjoys facilitating with Attenborough Arts, Leicester University, life-long learners. She edited Arts Council England supported Family Matters & Making Our World Better, Dahlia Publishing. The latter anthology collected well-being prose to record how to improve our environments. Fiona’s inspirational collection of hopeful stories and poems is Count Our Blessings, Onwards & Upwards, 2021.

She continues to write short stories. Presently, she’s drafting picture books in nature. These are about wild animals with a resilience-building message for toddlers and their carers. She is interested in collaborating with other writers and illustrators. Fiona is a coach for writers and a creative mentor for children and young people with the Mighty Creatives charity.
