Jack Chown (kiskadee)
Duration
Jack Chown (kiskadee) is a composer and artist whose work blurs the boundaries between organic and electronic sound, crafting cinematic, emotionally charged music for film, brands, and immersive installations.
His screen credits include IDA-nominated Stolen Gold (Pulse Films/ESPN), Bad Goods and Cowboy Kings of Crypto (Vice Studios), and How to Take a Nude (Cannes premiere). Branded work spans Nike, Sony, Vogue, Porsche, and Asahi, and his collaboration with Guy Ritchie on Touching Hands earned a Music & Sound Award.
Beyond screen, Jack’s practice extends into gallery and performance. His installation Photo//Synthesis invited audiences to interact with 3D plant scans that responded dynamically to movement – merging sound, nature, and participatory art.
Under his artist moniker kiskadee, Jack channels natural textures and immersive sound design into electronic music. His debut album A Room to Breathe (2024) earned acclaim from BBC 6 Music, Radio 1, Clash, and Complex, and was followed by performances at Glastonbury, Green Man, Wilderness, and Secret Garden Party.
With a second album forthcoming and new projects spanning screen, installation, and live performance, Jack continues to craft work that bridges the sensory and the cinematic.
