Sarah Fielding

Sarah Fielding is a theatre director, dramaturg, and writer specialising in devised, interdisciplinary, and experimental performance. Her work spans theatre, circus, immersive experiences, and multimedia storytelling, often exploring innovative ways to engage audiences through physicality, technology, and non-traditional performance spaces. She has directed projects in varied and unconventional locations—cathedrals, car salesrooms, underground tunnels—embracing site-responsive and immersive approaches to storytelling, and is also a script reader for Theatre503 and The Finborough Theatre.

Sarah has an MA in Text and Performance from Birkbeck and RADA (Distinction) and is an alumnus of the Royal Court Writers Group. She has developed a strong foundation in dramaturgy and collaborative theatre-making, and research interests include the theatre of horror, crisis as a response to the contemporary, and the evolving role of performance in digital and virtual spaces, embracing methodologies that blur the boundaries between disciplines.
