Sarah Tierney has spent 20 years working in film and television.

She began her career as a producer working on international current affairs and documentary, characterised by hard-won access. She has produced work for the BBC, Channel 4, More4, ITN, Creative Scotland and BRITDOC. Her credits include Oscar-nominated, BIFA-nominated and BAFTA Scotland-winning work, and her films have screened at over 150 film festivals worldwide.

Sarah has spent the last decade working in distribution, launching and scaling streaming platforms, most recently at ITV. She is now developing a slate of projects as a writer: bold, mainstream thrillers for a global audience, told at the intersection of personal and political stories and from a female perspective.
