Jill O’Sullivan is a Glasgow-based multi-instrumentalist/singer/songwriter who writes and performs across the worlds of popular music, theatre and dance.

O’Sullivan was a founding member of Sparrow and the Workshop & Bdy_Prts and has collaborated with a multitude of renowned musicians including Alasdair Roberts, Alex Neilson, Bonnie “Prince” Billy, Scott Hutchinson, Emma Pollock, and James Yorkston, amongst others.  O’Sullivan also helped develop and co-write the music for Magnetic North’s 4-star theatre performance Lost in Music and performed alongside composer Scott Twynholm in Birds of Paradise’s critically-acclaimed Purposeless Movements. In addition, she teaches and mentors young and aspiring musicians across Scotland. Jill currently performs under the moniker Jill Lorean, a project with Andy Monaghan (Frightened Rabbit) and drummer Peter Kelly (The Kills, Ladytron).
