Lorna Ough currently lives and works in Glasgow. She has a BA (hons) from The University of Brighton in Fine Art: Critical Practice and studied on part of the the MLitt Art Writing programme at The Glasgow School of Art.

Her practice has included performance and curating – and sometimes a combination of the two – but is now primarily writing and spoken word based. Lorna’s work is messy, blunt, grotesque and primarily uses food and cooking as a lens through which to examine sex, mental health and domestic relations. She has previously worked with galleries including The Towner Gallery, ONCA Gallery, The De La Warr Pavilion and has also done a residency on a barge.

She plans to spend her time at Cove Park compiling a body of writing and vinyl record under the working title of ‘bad raisins and rotting leaves: notes on eating and being eaten’.

Lorna’s blog can be accessed here.
