In February 2019 Cove Park was awarded funding from British Council Scotland and Creative Scotland to develop a new residency programme produced in collaboration with partners based in EU nations. The aim of this programme is to maintain and develop cultural partnerships between Scotland and these nations at a pivotal moment in the cultural landscape of Europe. More information on this programme and our partners is available here.

Andrea Coyotzi Borja (born 1984, Mexico) is an artist based in Helsinki, Finland.

She is a Doctoral student at Aalto University, where her practice and research focuses upon the observation and practice of the ‘infraordinary’, as defined by author and filmmaker Georges Perec. This subject often eludes definition, but can be explored through different concepts, one of which is the notion of gesture.

Her artwork has been exhibited in Mexico, the United States, Italy, Hungary, Poland, Spain, Bulgaria and Finland. This four week residency is supported by the Finnish Institute in London and was developed in partnership with HIAP (Helsinki International Artist Programme) and MUU Artists Association.
