Natalie Weinberger

Cove Park’s International Crafts programme expresses our commitment to supporting emerging and established international designer/makers and creating ways in which these individuals can engage with artists, organisations and audiences in Scotland. Previous international craft residents include Marie O’Connor, Erno Langenberg, Hannah Waldron, Nick Ross, Hilda Hellstrom, Carolina Apolonia, Johannes Nagel Anja Lapatsch and Annika Unge, and Tilleke Schwartz.

Natalie Weinberger is a New York City born, Brooklyn based ceramicist working at the intersection of craft and design. Rooted in an affinity for ceramic materials and traditional production methods, she designs functional dinnerware, sculptural vessels & lighting, and unique surfaces for small furniture and interiors. Her aim is to gently guide her materials to illustrate the patterns and infinite variety revealed in nature. She holds a BFA in Visual Studies from the University of Wisconsin in Madison and a MS in Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania. She started throwing on the wheel in 2010.
