Fiona Moon is a socially engaged writer, theatre maker and community artist based in Glasgow. She explores themes of hope, illness, otherness and how we live with our own personal and collective histories. Viewing writing as an act of reclamation and creative defiance, and her theatre work is highly visual, playful and interactive, often challenging or re-imagining typical expectations.

As a community artist, she has worked in educational, cultural and community spaces, with a focus on joy, identity and activism. She has particular experience working with young people. She has been long and shortlisted for various award, including the PenguinRandomhouse Write Now scheme, and the Mslaxia Poetry Competition. Her most recent play ‘A Brief History of Neurodivergence’ premiered in 2025, receiving a 5* review from The Scotsman, who described it as ‘Ultimately profound. Everybody should see this play.’ She is currently undertaking a DfA in Creative Writing at University of Glasgow.
