Announcing Nature Networks
During September 2025, Cove Park is working with artists and local woodland groups to highlight the development of Nature Networks. Bringing people together through shared activity, the focus is on connecting communities, exploring local landscapes, and strengthening our relationships with the environments we care for.
Over the course of the month, artist and former resident Demelza Kingston leads a series of free analogue photography workshops in local woodlands and at Cove Park. Open to all, these sessions invite participants to explore natural spaces, experiment with film photography, and try out simple darkroom techniques using natural materials. Cameras will be available to borrow, or you are welcome to bring your own. These workshops are free to attend and no booking is necessary. For more information, please contact emma@covepark.org

The workshops form part of our Nature Networks programme and culminate in the Nature Networks Springboard event: a local assembly for creative climate action in Argyll and Bute. This gathering is presented in collaboration with Culture for Climate Scotland and the Argyll and Bute Climate Action Network. It brings together artists, communities, and environmental organisations to celebrate and strengthen creative climate action. Find out more and book here.
