About the Film:

Winning Best Drama at the BAFTA Scotland New Talent Awards in 2016 Hula is a gently humorous drama about divorcee Clara. Reluctant to engage with her Highland community, she setus up her empty-nest home as a B&B. Her first guest is an artist who introduces her to change by rearranging the beroom feng shui style. Next, a pair of elderly tourists painfully remind Clara of the joys of love. Finally a hilwalker, as lonely as she is but not nearly so stuck initiates an evening of unexpected hilarity which spurs her onwars to a new, ultimately more promising phase in her life.

About the Director:

Robin Haig is a writer/director from the Highlands of Scotland who is currently developing her first feature film, part of a trilogy, and a TV drama series based on her award-winning short Hula.
