Cove Park’s dedicated European Residency Programme was launched in February this year. Working with 8 partners in Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, The Netherlands, Norway and Sweden, Cove Park is welcoming artists from these nations throughout 2019 and 2020.

To mark this programme, the Alliance Française Glasgow is hosting Cove Park on Thursday 7 November (from 6 – 7.30pm) for a special event focussing upon the aims of the European Residency Programme and introducing the work of the participating artists. The event will be introduced by Lauren Dyer Amazeen (Chair, Cove Park) and Nathalie Korkmaz (Director, Alliance Française Glasgow).

The artists joining us on 7 November are: literary translator Ghislain Bareau (France/Belgium), Klaas Burger (The Netherlands), poet Jeda Pearl Lewis (Scotland), visual artist Emmie McLuskey (Scotland), visual artist Eva Medin (France) and songwriter/maker Lillian Samdal (Norway).

Please join us to meet the artists and Cove Park’s staff and to find out more about our work with European partners and our annual residency programme. Wine will be served. This event is free and tickets can be reserved here.

We would like to thank the Alliance Française Glasgow for hosting this event and for their support of Eva Medin’s residency. The European Residency Programme is supported by British Council Scotland and Creative Scotland and made possible through collaborations with our partners in Europe, including Cité internationale des Arts, Paris, The SEA Foundation, The Netherlands and the Nordic Arts Centre, Dale.
