Counterflows Festival 2025
We are delighted to partner with Counterflows and welcome Scottish and Vietnamese musicians to Cove Park for a two-week residency in March prior to their participation in the 2025 festival. Counterflows is an internationally acclaimed Glasgow-based contemporary music festival that celebrates challenging and thought provoking work in the context of what might be called experimental music; supporting marginal music practice within a wide array of different genres and approaches to music and sound. Taking place annually, the festival features artists from Scotland, UK and around the world, and celebrates and explores culture on a local and international scale.
On Friday 4 April 2025, from 10:30pm at CCA Glasgow, the Counterflows Hang-Out will bring to the spotlight the artists who have taken part in the 2025 Counterflows/Cove Park Residency: Vietnam’s Trần Uy Đức and Vũ Hà Anh, and Scotland’s Sholto Dobie and Inge Thomson. After a week working, sharing, eating and exploring possibilities together, they’ll gather in the CCA’s foyer space. Trần Uy Đức will present his first ever live performance in Europe, sharing his collage-heavy, slanted pop music. Vũ Hà Anh, Sholto & Inga will be on the decks.
This event is 18+ only.
