I am a letterpress printer living and working in Glasgow using traditional methods of printing with metal and wood type but also experimenting with new techniques within the process. I am particularly interested in analysing the way we experience letterforms and society’s relationship to the written word throughout the history of typography.

Alongside my own research led practice I work in collaboration with artists and designers using letterpress technology. I also work as a Technician at the Glasgow School of Art in the school’s letterpress printing workshop and help run the Caseroom SWG3, organising workshops, events and providing technical printing support.
