Ghislain Bareau is a French translator of English and Dutch living and working in Tongeren, the Flemish-speaking part of Belgium. He holds two Master’s degrees, one in English Literature from the University of Bordeaux, and one in translation from the University of Liège.
Ghislain currently works part-time as translator for a pharmaceutical company. Tour d’horizon, his translation of Kathleen Jamie’s Sightlines, was published by Swiss publisher La Baconnière in January 2019. The book was well received by critics and was featured on the cover of the literature review section of Libération.
