Anne Brauner is a German literary translator who is resident in Cologne and translates children’s books and Young-Adult-books from English, French and Italian into her native language. She holds a M.A. in German and Italian literature and in medieval and modern history. She wrote various nonfiction books for small children as well as some illustrated travel books. She has translated books by Holly Black, Jesse Browner, Paula Fox, Geraldine McCaughrean, Tonya Hurley, Gareth Russell and many others. Currently she is working on the translation of „The Nowhere Emporium“, an award-winning novel by the Scottish author Ross MacKenzie.
