Joanna Rucklidge is an artist, educator and researcher, focusing on sustainability, printmaking and visual communication. Joanna makes work about consumer culture using disposable objects as motivation, materials and motifs. Joanna recently started a PhD exploring the correlation between detrimental climate change and consumer choices associated with waste paper. Joanna studied Graphic Design at Glasgow School of Art & Visual Communication at the Royal College of Art. She is now a practice-based PhD student at Sheffield Creative Industries Institute (Sheffield Hallam University), UK.
