Kirkmichael Community Development Group Open Day

Courtesy of Caitlin Hegney

Join Cove Park and local jewellery artist Caitlin Hegney for a fun, workshop where you’ll create your own brass plant tags and decorative pieces to brighten up your plants, indoors or out.

Using simple hand tools, participants will hammer and emboss brass to make a unique design to take home. Each piece takes around 10–15 minutes, making it perfect for families, children, adults, and anyone curious about trying something a bit different — no experience needed.

This free workshop is part of the Kirkmichael Community Development Group Open Day, a chance to:

  • meet the team and enjoy refreshments
  • see plans development for the Kirkmichael play area
  • learn about and have your say on proposed projects such as a pump track, skatepark, play park, community shed and garden
  • share your ideas and find out how to get involved, including joining the committee

No booking necessary and everyone is welcome. If you have any questions about this event, please get in touch with Curator of Engagement, Emma Henderson.
