Dr Alice Langley is a writer and theatre maker currently based in Glasgow, with expertise in horror, magical realism, fantasy, and speculative fiction, focusing on trauma, reproduction and women’s bodies, memory, and nightmares.
She is working on her first play, an interdisciplinary project at the intersection of theatre and circus which uses magical realism to explore the embodiment of trauma and how it is held within the body.
Her short and creative non-fiction has appeared in numerous literary journals including Scotland-based Pot Luck Zine and Selkie. Her first novel, The Stone Mothers, is currently on submission.
