Paul Maddern

Paul Maddern was born in Bermuda and lives in Ireland. He has four publications with Templar Poetry, the latest being The Tipping Line (2018), and he edited Queering the Green: Post-2000 Queer Irish Poetry (Lifeboat Press 2018). He is the recipient of several ACNI awards and three Bermuda Government Literary Awards. He was Teaching Fellow in Creative Writing with the University of Leeds and has taught at the Seamus Heaney Centre, from where he obtained his PhD. In 2023 he was a James Merrill House Writing Fellow. He is completing his next collection and while at Cove Park he will be working on translations of (and responses to) poems by Jules Supervielle.
