Rosemary James-Beith

Rosemary James-Beith is a research and development consultant with over 15 years experience working with Scotland’s cultural sectors. She is currently completing a PhD within the Centre for Cultural Policy Research at University of Glasgow which explores the role of maker-led membership organisations in Scotland’s craft ecology. Alongside her academic work, Rosemary is Creative Glasgow’s membership and programme manager, a role she started in November 2024. She also works with a range of cultural sector clients on a freelance basis supporting research, evaluation, and project management, most recently with Craft Scotland and Panel on their MAKE Learn Initiative, and composer Savourna Stevenson on the development of a new choral work for children.
