Carole McAauley is a Helensburgh-based writer and artist, winner of the LiveArgyll FlashFiction500 (April 2025) and multiple-time runner-up (2024–25). She contributes monthly to Bothy Blether at Jean’s Bothy and exhibited her artwork at Helensburgh Library in 2022.

Hunter McAauley is an award-winning writer whose fiction has been recognised by the Scottish Book Trust (Winner, 50 Word Fiction, November 2024) and Live Argyll’s FlashFiction500 (Winner, March 2025; multiple runner-up placements, 2024–2025). His work appears in Scotland’s Stories (Scottish Book Trust, Autumn 2025), and he is the author of the short story collection Twists and Terns (self-published, 2023). Since 2022, he has been a monthly columnist for Bothy Blether, the magazine of Jean’s Bothy Wellness Centre in Helensburgh.
