Anne-Marie Copestake is an artist living and working in Glasgow. Attentive to daily acts, acts of refusal, tenderness, narrative, oral history, temporary and longer term communities, her work is concerned with social political conditions surrounding choices, or a lack of choices, and an exploration of histories and environments that may have contributed. Anne-Marie often works collaboratively. She has exhibited widely nationally and internationally, recent presentations include LUX, Cubitt, Cooper Gallery, Meno Avilys, Hunterian Art Gallery, GFT, BFI, Tramway, CCA Glasgow, P/////AKT. Her films and videos are distributed by LUX.
