Karon Sabrina Corrales is a cultural producer and independent curator based in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. In 2016, she co-founded LL Proyectos with artist and curator Leonardo Gonzalez, an independent contemporary art initiative dedicated to fostering critical dialogue and artistic experimentation in Tegucigalpa.
She is currently a fellow of the Cultural & Artistic Responses to the Environmental Crisis (CAREC) programme supported by the Prince Claus Fund, The Netherlands. She received several grants in recognition of her work, including the Seed Award from Prince Claus Fund and from other organizations for her work with LL Proyectos.
Corrales has collaborated on artistic and research projects across the U.S., Colombia, Berlin and Central America. Her practice approaches uncertainty as a space for generating community-driven knowledge. Through her work, she contributes to initiatives that bridge local and international artistic practices, fostering deeper engagement to the community in Honduras and across the Central American region.
