Cove Park will host its first Meet Your Maker event to celebrate and share the practice of two Scottish designers who took part in the 2016 summer residency programme. Tying in to the themes for the 2016 Year of Innovation, Architecture and Design, Cove Park will deliver an afternoon of presentations and workshops with knitwear designer Jennifer Kent of Edition Scotland and architect Andy Campbell of Dress for the Weather.

Both designers will offer a fascinating insight into the impact that an intense period of dedicated time has on a practice. Jennifer and Andy will set up examples of their work and working methods, and invite you to peek behind-the-scenes of their residency projects. Visitors will also be able to participate in workshops with both designers, trying their hand at designing and producing a sample on a domestic knitting machine and creating concrete casts by experimenting with pigment, dyes and aggregate.
