Inspired Giving:
How you can make the difference.

Financial support for the creative process rather than the presentation of existing work is all too rare, because the results are not easy or immediate. And yet it is investment in the earliest germination of artistic work which ultimately brings the greatest yield for our cultural life. As with research and development in medicine, science or engineering, supporting the cultivation of ideas, of imagination and original thought in the arts has the greatest power ultimately to enrich and transform society. Cove Park was founded to give living artists real opportunities to create freely and on their own terms. The vitality of the arts depends on work like this.

If you are interested in making a contribution to our work, please contact Julian Forrester. Cove Park’s Director, on 01436 850123 or at julian.forrester@covepark.org or by post to Cove Park, Peaton Hill, Cove, Argyll and Bute, G84 0PE.

Whilst a contribution of any amount, however small, will make a difference to the artists who come to Cove Park, here are some examples of what can be done at different levels of support:

Studio Patron  £1,000                    Sponsor a Studio
Supporting a studio contributes to the creation of many pieces made there, ensuring it has both materials and equipment for making first class work. Your name will appear on our studio honours board and on our website.

Artist Patron   £2,500                     Sponsor an Artist
Supporting an artist gives an individual a unique opportunity to develop their practice at Cove Park. We will try to accommodate any preference you may have as to the art form and nationality of the artist. You will receive an invitation to one of Cove Park’s Summer Dinners when that artist is in residence so you can meet him/her and others from public life, and you will also receive an invitation to Cove Park’s London Talks series in which distinguished artists and others talk about their work.

Residency Patron   £5,000
Enables a group of artists to collaborate on the development of new work for theatres, galleries and other spaces across the UK. We can discuss a dedicated art form for the residency and you will be credited in all Cove Park publicity. As well you will receive an invitation to our annual supporters dinner in London and invitations to private views and first nights of work developed at Cove Park.

Cove Park Patron   £10,000
Enables the development of a three month residency, offering Cove Park the flexibility and freedom to look at the big picture and plan ahead. Cove Park would respond to this level of your commitment by naming and crediting a residency of your choice and in your honour (and involving you in its development, as your time permits). You will receive invitations to all our UK events as well as private views and first nights of work developed at Cove Park.
