This two-month residency supports an established designer/maker based in the UK. It enables them at a key stage in their career to take time out to explore new ideas and ways of working within the context of Cove Park’s international and cross-disciplinary programme.

Lina Peterson is a jeweller based in London. She is interested in the combination of colour, form and material in her wearable pieces. Having exhibited her work extensively since graduating from the Royal College of Art in 2006, Peterson is keen to work on a larger more experimental scale, opening up her practice from the traditional idea of what jewellery is and how it can be presented. She intends to use the time and space at Cove Park to work with scale and to develop ideas around pairings of forms and colours.
