The site

Cove Park has a new Artist Centre allowing us to run year round. Last winter we ran a pilot, offering subsidised residencies during the months of December, January and February. Following the success of 2016 we are again offering residencies for individuals or groups of up to 12, at a special subsidised rate. We invite residencies for 3, 4 or 7 nights, or multiples thereof. Proposals are invited from UK-based artists (individually or in groups) working in any creative discipline who would benefit from time, space and creative exchange on Scotland’s west coast.

Dates and duration of the self-funded residencies

We hope that by opening up Cove Park this winter we can support artists who might not otherwise have the means to take up a residency.

Please note: Artists applying for this self-funded opportunity can also apply for a funded residency (across our curated Craft, Film, Literature, Performing and Visual Arts programmes), if they meet the requirements. Please sign up for newsletter updates via our website, and follow us on Twitter (@CovePark) and Facebook. Guidelines and deadlines will be published in the coming weeks.

The minimum duration of a residency will be three nights. We will be offering three night residencies [beginning on a Friday] and four night residencies [beginning on a Monday]. We are also happy to consider longer residencies, from one week to a month.
