The Scottish Visual Arts Residency supports an established artists based in Scotland, providing space and time for the research and development of new work.
The 2009 residency was awarded to the Glasgow-based visual artist and writer Sarah Tripp.
Tripp’s current practice is based on a curiosity about human behaviour and a sensitivity to the coercive aspects of social conventions, she works in both film and creative writing.
