During the summer of 2017, Cove Park will work with The Royal Court Theatre, London, and host a number of playwrights connected to its internationally renowned programme. The third participating artist is Eve Leigh.

Eve is a playwright, theatremaker, and dramaturg. She trained at the Royal Court Young Writers’ Programme and Studio Group and the National Theatre’s Directors’ Course. Her plays include Stone Face (Finborough Theatre, nominated for three Offies including Best New Play), The Curtain (Young Vic Taking Part), Red Sky at Night (Bush Theatre), Rapture (Soho Theatre), Silent Planet (Finborough Theatre), Plunder (Young Vic Taking Part), Enough (Birmingham REP Young Rep).

Audio drama includes The Voice of the House (Duppini Art Group, Veliko Ternovo), and interactive installations include Your Future (Camden People’s Theatre/Hebbel Am Ufer, Ballhaus Ost, and Sophiensaele, Berlin), and A Short and Boring Story (Camden People’s Theatre).
Her work as dramaturg includes the multi-award-winning How To Win Against History by Seiriol Davies (Ovalhouse, Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh, National Tour) and Das Spiel by Philipp Oberlohr (Ovalhouse, Lyric Hammersmith, International Tour). Upcoming work includes a commission from the Royal Shakespeare Company and an AIDF-funded residency with Teatr Polski Bydgoszcz for their Festival of New Dramaturgies.  Other award shortlistings include Title Pending (2014 and 2015), Routes North (2015), and Kings Cross New Plays Award (2014).
