In 2016 Cove Park and CCA Glasgow invited Indian artist Sahej Rahal to spend ten weeks in Scotland this year. Known for his sculptural installations, films and performances, Sahej will develop a new body of work during an 8 week residency at Cove Park. Following this residency, the artist will be based at CCA where he will present his first solo show in Scotland.

Cove Park and CCA have developed several international projects together in recent years. In 2008, the Mexican artist Abraham Cruzvillegas was based at Cove Park for three months and the work produced during this time resulted in both a solo exhibition at CCA and the publication Autoconstrucción; in 2012, and in partnership with Chisenhale Gallery, London, Cove Park hosted the Berlin-based artist Mariana Castillo Deball and work developed during her residencies in Scotland went on to be shown at both CCA and Chisenhale Gallery.
