Cowal is one of Argyll and Bute’s most striking peninsulas and is visible from Cove Park. This series of residencies, for artists based on the peninsula, has been developed in partnership with the Cowal-based organisation Dunoon Burgh Hall.

Sandi Kiehlmann studied Embroidered and Woven Textiles at Glasgow School of Art. She works in drawing, print making, digital media and environmental arts projects and specialises in fine art textiles. Sandi has worked as a visiting lecturer in the textile and art & design departments of several art colleges in Britain, and has collaborated with professional and non-professional artists on a diverse range of arts projects locally and nationally, including Kelvingrove Art Gallery Glasgow, Museum of Scotland Edinburgh, Coventry Library, Birmingham Art Gallery, BMA Birmingham, Tramway, Gartnaval Hospital, Museum of Religion, GOMA, GAMH, Argyll and Bute Council and Project Ability, Glasgow.
