New work by Lauren Printy Currie
Saturday 29 August 3-5pm, Cove Park

A special event to mark the final week of Lauren Printy Currie’s one-month visual arts residency.

Lauren creates assemblages of image, text, sound and objects that hybridise the material and spatial possibilities of objects. Her working processes are part of an on-going enquiry into the authority of the word sculptural as a signifier revealing the multiple artefacts through which sculpture exists and how the intertwinement of matter and language can become meaningful.

This event will take place in the artist’s studio. Refreshments will be served in Oak Pod. When arriving at Cove Park, please park by the former Centre (this is now closed as work is due to begin on a new building). Signs will show the way to the studios and members of staff will be on site to help.

Please RSVP by Friday 28 August to alexia.holt@covepark.org
