Simon Longman is a playwright from the West Midlands. He was a member of the Royal Court Young Writer’s Group in 2013 and in 2014 he won the Channel 4 Playwrights’ Scheme and was Playwright in Residence at Pentabus Theatre Company. In 2015 his play RAILS was shortlisted for the Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting. His plays include MILKED, SPARKS and most recently WHITE SKY, which premiered at the Royal Welsh College before transferring to the Gate Theatre in London in March 2017. He is currently under commission to the Bush Theatre and the Royal Court.
