Born 1978, County Kerry, Ireland, lives and works in Berlin and Limerick.
Sean Lynch studied sculpture at Limerick School of Art and Design. He went on to receive an MA in the History of Art and Design at the University of Limerick and to study Fine Art at HfBK Stadelschule, Frankfurt Am Main.
Sean Lynch’s work involves photography, video, installation and text. He has stated that he is interested in ‘loose ends within historical narrative: the footnotes that tend to get lost, misplaced or are unnoticed, and how to mediate their presence.’
